Industrial / Product Designer
Hi, I’m Vedant
I’m a product designer from Mumbai who can’t leave a problem alone until I’ve worked it out. I think with my hands: I sketch, model, print, break and rebuild until the answer makes sense to the person using it, not just to me.

First place for Orthos-Adapt, a portable seat that locks onto any public bench under body weight and holds children with cerebral palsy upright and steady, with no straps, buckles or help needed. Designed with Jay Parmar at ISDI, ATLAS SkillTech University.

01 / About
We meet the world through five senses, yet most products are designed for one. I design for all of them: the weight of an object in your hand, the texture under your fingers, the sound it makes, the smell of a material that tells you it was made with care, and the moment it simply works. Steve Jobs put it best: “Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” That is the standard I hold my work to.
02 / Selected Works
Pressure you can feel, support you can sit on, a vehicle you can step into and a sound that puts out fire.

The everyday three-wheeler, rebuilt as an enclosed electric platform that switches between passengers, cargo and utility. Designed around the driver who spends all day in it, and built to scale to cities anywhere.

An autonomous fire extinguisher that runs on sound. It detects a fire on its own, warns the people around it, and fires 200 Hz pulses of air to put it out.

2026
First place for Orthos-Adapt, a seat that gives children with cerebral palsy the freedom to sit anywhere in the city. Designed with Jay Parmar.
May – Jul 2026
Led the UX revamp and redevelopment of MyCards, the bank’s card-management platform, and redesigned the self-service forex journey. On my own initiative, I also researched, designed and built a savings app from scratch into a working prototype.
May – Aug 2025
Helped build an e-commerce platform selling more than 50 products, and designed the mechanisms behind their packaging: how each box opens, closes and protects what is inside.
Ongoing
Training as a product designer, with a minor in Universal Design. The studio is where I learnt to take an idea all the way: research, sketches, CAD and a working prototype. iMotionS, Trivera, Orthos-Adapt and the Acoustic Extinguisher all began here, and so did the habit of testing every idea with the people it’s for.
